Activity 12.1: Geogebra Constructions

Using the techniques in section 12.1 of the text and Geogebra select two (2) different constructions below to complete.

• Congruent angle
• SSS congruent triangle of an arbitrary scalene triangle
• SAS congruent triangle of a triangle with a 30° angle
• Perpendicular bisector of a line segment
• Angle bisector of an arbitrary angle
• Perpendicular line through a starting point on a line you make
• Parallel line to a line you make
• Circumscribed triangle

In Geogebra, you can use the following tools to make the construction.

• Point
• Segment
• Line
• Circle with Center
• Compass
• Intersect
• Polygon

Note: It may take a few tries to get a construction right. Expect to try and try again.

What to submit.

Submit two separate Geogebra files or links, one for each of the constructions you built.
