About Me

This is my fifth year at Blue Mountain Community College. I have a long history as a dedicated undergraduate instructor within 2-year, 4-year, and career/technical programs. My pillars are leadership, education, and service, and I am committed to helping others identify their passions.

Before moving to Pendleton, I was an instructor at Lane Community College in Eugene, where I raised my family. When my children were younger, I became involved with Camp Fire and Boy Scouts, and I held nearly every role within Boy Scouts except being a boy. Watching people gain interpersonal and leadership skills is rewarding. Those experiences along with my Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society advisor and regional coordinator roles have lead me to where I am today.

My early years were spent in rural southwestern Oregon, and moving to Pendleton has provided me with a very different environment. Within the community, I am involved with the Pendleton Chamber of Commerce working with committees and serving on the Board of Directors.

If you have any questions, please contact me or come by my office on the Pendleton Campus, Morrow Hall, Room 217.
