Using Google Photos
Google Photos is an online photo management system and simple editor, although it has some sophisticated features.
There are a few different views for Google Photos depending on how you have it set up. Above is the Photos view, showing your photos in descending order by upload date.
Above is the Collections view. In this view you will see albums that you created.
The Assistant above will put together collages, movies, and panoramas for you to approve for addition to your collections.
If you double-click any photo you will view it separately. You can then choose to share it.
From the photo view window, you can also choose to edit.
The first edit screen is for Basic Adjustments.
With Basic Adjustments, you can change the Light (brightness), Color, Pop (Contrast), and Vignette (darken edges).
Next we have the Color Filters. Check them out.
Lastly, we have Crop and Rotate.
With the Crop and Rotate tool you can crop by grabbing corners and edges, rotate a angle of your choice, or rotate 90 degrees at a time .
Once you have a change or changes that you like you can save or compare to the original.
Click Compare and then click the image to toggle back to the original.
Google Photos has a lot of great, easy to use tools for basic adjustments. For more sophisticated adjustments, we will use Pixlr Editor.
