Links in Canvas Assignments
When putting links in Canvas assignments you should follow the following steps:
- Copy the URL of the web page that you want to link to. Ex. https://www.google.com
- In the canvas assignment, type your link text. Ex. Google
- Highlight the link text and then click the link button in the tool bar.
- Paste your address in place of the highlighted placeholder, http://, and click Insert link. Boom done.
TIP: Avoid typing links by hand. Either copy the link from the location bar or use the link provided by the service, e.g., a Google Drive share link, or a WordPress permalink.
