Using Google Drive Tutorial Submission

First, create a new folder called Google Drive Tutorial inside CS120\Tutorials in your Google Drive.

Read and follow along with the 7 tutorials below (all are from GcfLearnFree.org: Google Drive Links to an external site.). Try all of the challenges at the end of each lesson as you move through them; the files you create will be part of this assignment submission. As you go, move all the files and folders you create into your Google Drive Tutorial folder.

3. Creating Google Docs Links to an external site.
4. Uploading Files to Google Drive Links to an external site.
5. Managing Your Files Links to an external site.
6. Sharing and Collaborating Links to an external site.
7. Converting and Printing Docs Links to an external site.

After you've read all the tutorials and completed the challenges, make the following adjustments to your files and folders:

1. From challenge 4: Rename the converted file by removing the Microsoft Office file extension (.docx), e.g., change googledrive_uploading_practice.docx to googledrive_uploading_practice. Make sure you change the right file; the icons will indicate which is the Microsoft Word version and which is the Google Doc version:

   

2. From Challenge 7: Upload the PDF you downloaded during the challenge into your Google Drive Tutorial folder.

Submit

In the submission text box include:

• The e-mail address of the person you shared your file with in challenge 6.
• A view-only link to your Google Drive Tutorial folder. Make sure the link is active.

When you are finished your folder should look something like one of these:
